In my world, there is no peace. I thrive on chaos and deadlines so I tend not to look for a quiet place to reflect. At the end of the day, when I need to quiet my mind, I use music. Instrumentals with flutes, violins, oboes, and soft strings. I focus on the sounds and textures of the music to distract the mind from disquieting thoughts. As I close my eyes, the soft flowing sounds bring images to my mind of places I have never been, things I have never seen. As a leaf in autumn, I slowly, rhythmically, drift toward the ground to snuggle against nature in peaceful slumber.
