I haven’t been with Word Press long enough to have a favorite blogger. There a few blogs that I’ve taken to prowling through just because I can. Since mimicking the voice of another blogger just seems wrong to me, I can’t really complete the Daily Post prompt the way it was intended. I mean to provide a few examples of what I read.
I admire the upbeat, energetic voice of Rara at Rarasaur. She always has kind words and a positive outlook. It’s very difficult to keep a positive outlook on life when all the internet seems to be stomping about and growling. I commend her efforts and wish her continued bliss of voice.
I enjoy reading KZ’s post at the eclectic eccentric shopaholic. I never know what I will find there, images, poems, heart-felt words. She has a distinct window to the world and does a wonderful job at sharing it with others without offending another’s point-of-view. Her sympatric voice is soothing to a hectic day.
I have read several blog post of writers who are brave and confident enough to share on the never-blinking internet. I find neither of those attributes in myself. While I do not view my work as worthy of risking prison, I am a bit fearful that if someone should barrow or steal a piece of my work, it would negate all the time and talent I put into it. I can’t do it. I praise all the blogger on Word Press that can do it.
There are many voices and styles available, however, the greatest voice is your own.

Well said. I struggled with this, because honestly, I don’t want to write like anyone else. I totally admire and enjoy the words that others write, but God has given each one of us our own unique voice. I seriously started not to participate in this, when I thought of another blogger, who always goes out of her way to be encouraging and uplifting, so I decided to honor her.
I really enjoyed your post, and it was very true, the greatest gift we have is our own unique voices. May the Lord richly bless you!
Love,
Cheryl
Beautifully said! And thank you for the kind words and encouragement!
